If civil service testing is not currently being offered in the City of Kenner, you may take the civil service test in another jurisdiction and transfer your scores to the City of Kenner.  In order to do that you will need to contact the Louisiana State Examiners Office at its website ose.louisiana.gov or by phone (225) 925-4400 for tests scheduled throughout the State.

After the Written Exam

After the written exam you will be notified by the Louisiana State Examiners Office whether you passed or failed.  If you fail, there will be no further processing, you may retest at the next available civil service testing.

If you pass the test the grades, then will need to be approved by the Kenner Civil Serve Board.  Once the grades are approved you will be contacted by a representative of the Police Department and scheduled for a physical fitness test.  At the time of the physical fitness test you will be given a Personal History Questionnaire that you will need to complete.
