Update: One arrested thus far in Kenner murder

 Kenner - One person has been arrested thus far in the murder of Jontrell Wells, 18, of Kenner.  Arrested is, Renee Kevon Holloway, 17, of Kenner.  Holloway had been charged with the crime of second degree murder.  Witnesses described Jontrell Wells and other individuals to be arguing about an ongoing issue about neighborhood rivalries, when he was shot outside a 16-year-old’s party last night. 

 This murder investigation continues.  The Kenner Police Department recovered multiple casings of different calibers, thus additional suspects are being sought.   

 At the time of this press release, Holloway remains in custody, no bond had set.
