Kenner Police Chief and JPSO Sheriff to rappel Benson Tower

 KENNER - In an effort to raise funds and awareness for the athletes of Special Olympics Louisiana, Kenner Police Chief Michael J. Glaser had issued a challenge to JPSO Sheriff Joe Lopinto to go “NOLA Over the Edge SWAT Edition,” and rappel with him down 25 stories from top of Benson Tower, which was accepted. 

  Chief Glaser and Sheriff Lopinto are expected to rappel down Benson Tower between 12:00 / 12:30 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017.   Please join us to raise awareness as we prepare for Friday’s event.
