Kenner Police investigating early morning shooting

 Kenner - The Kenner Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 2800 block of Richland Street, in Kenner, in which an unknown suspect shot into an occupied vehicle. 

 At approximately 12:38 a.m., Tuesday, December 05, 2017, the Kenner Police Department received numerous calls regarding gunshots in the 2800 block of Richland Street, in Kenner.  Callers advised police that gray Dodge Dart was seen leaving the location at a high rate of speed and had crossed Veterans Boulevard, into to Susan Park Subdivision.   Shortly after receiving these calls, the Kenner Police Department received a call from an 18-year-old female victim, who reported she and an 18-year-old male, who resides in the 2800 block of Richland Street, were parked outside, when they began hearing gunshots and immediately fled the area. 

 Neither victim was struck, but the vehicle was found to have two bullet holes and a shattered rear glass.
