Georgia man trafficking Methamphetamine arrested in Kenner

 Kenner - On Tuesday, January 12, 2016, Randall Brown, 36, of 3670 La Villa Drive, Atlanta, Georgia was arrested by members of the Kenner Police Department and DEA HIDTA Task Force and charged with the crimes of illegal possession with the intent to distribute Methamphetamine 114 grams (Crystal Meth / street value $11,000.00), illegal possession of a firearm while in possession of a CDS, and drug paraphernalia. 

 Members of the Kenner Police Department and the DEA Task Force received information that Brown was enroute to Kenner with a quantity of Methamphetamine and that he would be armed.  Members located Brown in the 4000 block of Colorado Avenue, driving a 2016 Cadillac SRX.  Brown was found to be in possession of the Methamphetamine (114 grams), a glass pipe used to ingest the drug, in addition to a loaded .380 caliber handgun. 

 A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Tatiana Arbelaez, 20, of 210 Stone Mountain Street, Lawrenceville, Georgia was found to be in possession of 14 pills of Alprazolam and 12 pills of 800 mg Ibuprofen which are only available through prescription.  Arbelaez was charged with the crimes of illegal possession of Alprazolam a Schedule 4 CDS., and Illegal possession of a Legend Drug.   At the time of this press release, both remain in custody.
