KCPA class #30 beginning in February
KENNER — Class #25 of the Kenner Citizens’ Police Academy will begin on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the Kenner Police Complex located at 500 Veterans Blvd. Kenner Police Chief Steve Caraway and the Kenner Police Department encourage citizens to participate in this unique opportunity to learn more about police operations.
Graduates of the program receive the opportunity to join the Kenner Citizens’ Academy Alumni Association (KCPAAA), through which they can lead the community in improving safety and promoting support for the Kenner Police Department. Alumni members can also volunteer their assistance at various department events.
Graduates may also apply for entry into the KPD Community Police Corps. This great program gives members the opportunity to volunteer and assist the KPD in its mission.
