Two Arrested for Burglary and Attempt Burglary in Kenner


Kenner-  On Tuesday, August 14, 2012, the Kenner Police Department arrested Andrew Creel, 20, of 3634 Loyola Dr. #237, Kenner and James Staub, 17, of 3626 E. Louisiana State Dr., Kenner.


At approximately 11:33 p.m., on Monday August 13, 2012, Kenner Police officers responded to a telephone call from an alert citizen who reported that two male subjects were pulling on vehicle door handles within the Sugar Mill Apartments located at 4520 Williams Blvd.  Upon officers’ arrival, both Creel and Staub were observed by officers.


 As a result of the investigation, officers were able to confirm that both Creel and Staub were pulling on vehicle door handles within the Sugar Mill Apartments. Officers were also able to confirm that Creel and Staub were responsible for a vehicle burglary in the 5400 block of David Drive; the 5400 block of David Drive is located one block from the Sugar Mill apartments.

Andrew Creel and James Staub both have been charged with 4 counts of Attempt Simple Burglary and 1 count of Simple Burglary.
