KENNER
- On Wednesday, February 17, 2010, the Kenner Police Department

at the Kenner Corp. limit and St. Charles Parish line.
At approximately 12:15 p.m., Wednesday,
February 17, 2010, the Kenner Police Department responded to a
single vehicle crash.
A preliminary investigation revealed
the driver, identified as Manuel Lee Prater, 49, of Pine Bluff,

After striking a curb, the vehicle continued over a levee

striking a steel barrier.
Prater was pronounced dead on scene.
Prater was not wearing a seat belt
at the time of the traffic crash.
