Police identify suspect shot and killed during botched robbery
KENNER
–
On Friday, January 29,
2010, at 8:49 pm, Kenner Police responded an armed robbery at
Dreams Communications & More, located at 3227 Williams Boulevard.
The owner was exiting his business when he was approached by
three men in the parking lot. One of the men produced a
revolver, struck the owner in the head, grabbed his backpack,
and pushed him into a nearby alley. The owner retrieved his
personal weapon and shot the would-be robber, who died on the
scene.
