BURGLARY SUSPECT ARRESTED

 

KENNER - On Monday, September 7, 2009, at approximately 8:40 p.m., an off-duty Kenner Police Officer (Officer Brad Ricke) observed a male suspect fleeing the location of a vehicle burglary on Avant Garde Circle in Kenner.  The suspect fled the location on a bicycle and was located and arrested in the 3400 block of Ole Miss Drive in Kenner. 

The suspect, identified as Geovanny Flores, aka Geovanni Flores, 24, who provided the home address of 668 Mayfair Lane, Kenner, was found to be in possession of a stolen GPS that was taken from a vehicle.  In addition, Flores was in possession of other property believed to be taken from other vehicle burglaries.     

At the present time, Flores has been charged with one count of simple burglary.  The investigation is ongoing.
