BURGLARY SUSPECT ARRESTED

KENNER - On Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at approximately 3:10 a.m., the Kenner Police Department responded to a complaint of a male suspect pulling on vehicle door handles in the 3000 block of Tennessee Avenue, Kenner.  Upon officer’s arrival, officers located Gregory Trott, 34, in the 3000 block of Tennessee Avenue.  Trott was identified by a victim as the person seen pulling on door handles in the area.  Trott was attempting to locate unlocked vehicles and was found to be in possession of property which linked him to two vehicle burglaries of unlocked vehicles in the 3000 block of Tennessee Avenue.

Trott was charged with the crimes of attempted simple burglary (1-count) and simple burglary (2-counts).  The investigation is ongoing.
