Kenner Officers investigating an unclassified death

KENNER – On Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at 8:47 p.m., Kenner Police Officers were called to the Tokyo, Sushi & Hibachi Restaurant at 3525 Williams Boulevard, which is currently under construction. A restaurant employee found the man, who had been working at the restaurant all day, unresponsive on top of a refrigeration unit outside. Preliminary findings did not suggest foul play.

Police are not releasing the victim’s name until family members have been notified. The death will remain unclassified pending an autopsy.

Officers Adam Matise and Christine Urrata are in charge of the investigation.
