KPD Officer selected as Police Officer of the Year by the LACP
KENNER
— Kenner
Police Officer William Campbell was recently selected by the
Louisiana Association of Chiefs of Police (LACP) as the 2009
Police Officer of the Year.
Officer Campbell will be recognized on Thursday July 16,
2009 at the LACP annual conference being held in
Monroe,
LA.
Officer Campbell is the first Kenner Police Officer in
approximately nine years to be selected as Officer of the Year
by the LACP.
Officer Campbell has served the Kenner Police
Department and the citizens of
Kenner
since 2006. He is
currently assigned to the KPD Patrol Division and is also an
active member of the KPD Honor Guard.
"This
is a tremendous honor for Officer Campbell and a tribute to the
excellent job all of the men and women of the Kenner Police
Department do,” said Kenner Police Chief Steve Caraway.
