Kenner Police Arrest Murder Suspect

Kenner - On Tuesday April 14, 2009, at approximately 2:00 P.M. Kenner Police Detectives arrested Warren A. Sinceno, Jr. age 20, who provided the home address of 524 Centanni Road, Kenner, LA. for the murder of Corey Lewis. Lewis was shot outside 2530 Illinois Avenue, Kenner, Louisiana on Tuesday, April 2, 2009.

Kenner Police Officers responded to the shooting on Illinois Avenue on Tuesday night. Responding officers discovered Corey Lewis age 20 of Kenner lying face down outside 2530 Illinois Avenue, Kenner. Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene.

Members of the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Warren Sinceno, Jr., during a traffic stop on Monday April 13, 2009.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force transported Sinceno from West Feliciana Parish to Kenner on April 14, 2009.

Warren Sinceno Jr. is charged with Second Degree Murder, Illegal Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of Certain Felonies and Illegal Use of a Weapon.
