Kenner Police Arrest Murder Suspect

Kenner- On Thursday, September 18, 2008, at approximately 8:00 A.M., Kenner Police Detectives arrested Brandon Joseph, age 22, of 2505 Illinois Ave, Kenner, La. for the murder of Miguel Vasquez. Vasquez was shot numerous times during an attempted armed robbery outside 2516 Idaho Avenue, Kenner, Louisiana on Sunday, September 14, 2008

Kenner Police officers responded to the shooting on Idaho Avenue on Sunday morning. Responding officers discovered Miguel Vasquez, 35, of 2516 Idaho Avenue, Kenner, with several gunshot wounds. Vasquez was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Brandon Joseph is charged with First Degree Murder, Attempt Armed Robbery and Illegal use of a Weapon.
