Police Arrest Two Subjects In Late Night Robbery
Kenner - The Kenner
Police Department is presently investigating a robbery that
occurred in the 3400 block of East Louisiana State Drive in
Kenner.
At approximately 2030 hrs
on October 12, 2008, a Hispanic male robbed the victim at
gunpoint as the victim was entering his residence. The subject
fled the area with the victims’ property in a silver colored
Toyota Celica. The victim told responding officers that he
observed the same vehicle following him from his family’s place
of business.
An officer spotted the
suspect vehicle traveling East on I-10 from Loyola Drive.
Officers located (2) subjects inside the vehicle, along with the
victims property and a semi-automatic pistol.
Kenner Police have charged
the two subjects with Armed Robbery and Illegal Possession of
Stolen Things.
Arrested
were:
Darwin Alonzo, H/M age 19,
of 4024 Palmyra St., New Orleans, La.
Remi Halum, W/M age 18, of
3705 Lake Michele Ct., Gretna, La.
No injuries were reported
in the case.
