Police investigate murder
Kenner - Kenner
Police is presently investigating a murder that occurred in the
700 block of Minor Street, in Kenner. On Wednesday, November
26, 2008, at approximately 11:58 p.m., Kenner Police responded
to a call in reference to a subject shot in the 700 block of
Minor Street. Officers discovered a male victim lying on the
ground with a gunshot wound. The victim, who is a 52 year old
male, with a previous address in Kenner was transported to
University Hospital, in New Orleans where his death was
pronounced.
At the present time, Kenner
Police is not releasing the victim’s name until family members
have been notified. There is no motive or suspect at this
time. Kenner Police will release more information as it comes
available.
