Sexual predator arrested

KENNEROn May 6, 2008, at 6:00 p.m., Jesse S. Lemoine, age 19, of 153 Eugenie Drive, Duson Louisiana, was arrested for one (1) count of computer-aided solicitation for sexual purposes, and four (4) counts indecent behavior with juveniles.

The undercover operation began in September 12, 2007, when a Kenner detective went into an online chat room posing as a juvenile female from Kenner.  Lemoine, who used the screen name “boiisexi,” contacted the detective.  From the onset, Lemoine knew he was chatting with a juvenile female.  During the course of the chat, Lemoine solicited to have sex with the juvenile female.  Lemoine then invited the juvenile female to view his webcam.  Lemoine sent images of himself masturbating, via the webcam.

On May 6, 2008, Kenner Detectives, Lafayette Parish Sherriff’s Deputies, and Investigators from the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office arrested Lemoine at his residence in Dunson, Louisiana.

Lemoine was also wanted by Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office for computer-aided solicitation for sexual purposes.

If convicted, Lemoine will be required to register as a sex offender and faces imprisonment for not less than two (2) years or more than ten (10) years.  With multiple charges, however the sentence could be up to twenty-five (25) years.

The investigation and arrest were made possible by the utilization of equipment donated to the Kenner Police Department by the Federal Bureau of Investigations, specifically for this type of investigation.  The Kenner Police Department has been and will continue aggressively going after individuals who use the Internet to sexually exploit juveniles from the city of Kenner.

This is the 42nd such arrest by the Kenner Police Department.
