Repeat obscenity offender arrested

Kenner – On Sunday, May 11, 2008, Ricky Scott, 53, whose last known address is in the 3000 block of Marietta Street, Kenner, was arrested for the crime of obscenity and simple battery. Scott was arrested after he was positively identified by the victim as the person she observed masturbating on a second floor balcony of the Best Western Hotel, located at 1021 Airline Drive, Kenner. As Scott attempted to flee the hotel, the victim attempted to obtain the license plate from Scott’s vehicle. Seeing the victim was attempting to obtain the license plate number to his vehicle, Scott exited his vehicle, attempted to place a clip board over the license plate, and pushed the victim.

Scott has 18 prior arrests for obscenity and 4 felony convictions for obscenity.
