Kenner Police investigating bank robbery

Kenner – The Kenner Police Department is presently investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Omni Bank, located at 285 West Esplanade Avenue, Kenner. At approximately 2:27 p.m., a black male, described to be 6’0” to 6’2” in height, wearing a black hat, shirt, and pants entered the bank. The male subject produced a note announcing the robbery and displayed an unknown caliber handgun to the teller. The male subject fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
