Detectives seize
16.36 pounds of marijuana
KENNER
– On June 2, 2008, at
approximately 6:40 a.m. detectives of the Kenner Police
Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant at 3128 Jasper Street,
Kenner.
Palma L.
Jefferson B/M, age 20 of the same address was arrested after
detectives discovered 7,428.2 grams (16.36 Pounds) of Marijuana
and 81 Tables of MDMA (Ecstasy) inside the residence. In
addition, Detectives confiscated over $27,000 in US Currency and
a loaded .40 cal semi-automatic pistol.

Intent to
distribute a Schedule 1, Controlled Dangerous Substance (16.36
pounds of Marijuana)
Illegal
Possession of a Schedule 1, Controlled Dangerous Substance (2nd
Offense), (16.36 pounds of Marijuana)
Intent to
distribute a Schedule 1, Controlled Dangerous Substance (MDMA
Ecstasy)
Illegal
Possession of a Schedule 1, Controlled Dangerous Substance (MDMA
Ecstasy)
Possession
of Drug Paraphernalia
Illegal
Possession of a Firearm while in Possession of a CDS
Illegal
Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
