Kenner-A Texas man, who told Kenner Police Detectives that he was visiting relatives in LaPlace and Lutcher was arrested Monday, July 21, 2008 after he arrived at a prearranged location in Kenner to meet with what he thought was an underage juvenile.  Pat Malone Terry, Jr., 36, who provided a mailing address in Kilgore, Texas, was charged with the crimes of computer aided solicitation of a juvenile, indecent behavior with a juvenile (2-counts), possession with the intent to distribute marijuana (22 grams), and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

The investigation began when a Kenner detective went into an online chat room posing as a juvenile.

Terry, who used the screen name “waterboyforyou2000,” contacted the detective.  During the course of the chat, Terry talked about sex with the juvenile and wanted to meet with the juvenile to smoke marijuana.  He also sent pictures of himself exposing his genital area and invited the juvenile to view his webcam.  Upon viewing the webcam detectives observed Terry exposing himself and masturbating.  Terry was arrested after he arrived at a prearranged location to meet, have sex, and smoke marijuana with the juvenile.  At the time of arrest Terry was in possession of 22 grams of marijuana.  From the time the online chat began to the time Terry arrived at the prearranged location,  3 hours had passed.

Terry who was interviewed by detectives admitted that his screen name was “waterboyforyou2000,” that he solicited a person that he thought was a juvenile for sexual purposes, possessed marijuana, and intended to distribute marijuana to the juvenile to smoke with him.  Terry also admitted that he sent a picture of himself, exposing himself, and that he masturbated via webcam for the juvenile.
