Kenner Police Investigating Hit & Run Crash Involving a Pedestrian

 

Kenner- The Kenner Police Department is investigating a hit & run crash involving a pedestrian that occurred in the 200 Block of Veterans Blvd. in Kenner.

On June 28, 2008 at approximately 10:25 P.M. the victim was walking east on the shoulder of Veterans Blvd, when she was struck by a white Ford pick-up truck. The victim sustained a broken leg, minor cuts, and bruises.  None of the injuries are considered life-threatening. The truck was last seen turning north onto Loyola Drive toward Interstate 10.

The truck is described as a newer model white Ford pick-up with blue stripes. The truck also has an aftermarket front bumper and a modified exhaust that comes through the truck bed behind the cab and flows into two (2) chrome exhaust stacks. The driver of the vehicle is an unknown white male.
