Elderly
man arrested for shooting girlfriend
KENNER – On Saturday, July 26,
2008, at 0856 hours, Herman Daniels, age 87, of 725 Farm Street,
Kenner, was arrested at his residence after he shot his live-in
girlfriend, Francis Clark, age 53, of Kenner. The two were

shot Clark one time. The projectile entered Clark’s right thigh
and lodged into her left thigh. Clark was transported to

injury did not appear to be life threatening.
Officers located Daniels at the residence
and retrieved the handgun from his pocket without incident.
Daniels was charged with aggravated battery and transported to
the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center.
