Suspect wanted for armed robbery of book store

 

Kenner-The Kenner Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Terrence McDermott, 28, in reference to the December 28, 2007, armed robbery of Airline Adult Book Store, located at 1401 26th Street, Kenner. 

At approximately 11:16 p.m., December 28, 2007, McDermott a former employee of the business, entered the book store wearing a black hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans.  McDermott was armed with an unknown caliber handgun and was attempting to conceal his identity by using a bandanna to cover his face.  At gunpoint McDermott demanded money, which he received, then fled the business.  Witnesses recognized McDermott when the bandanna slipped from his face during the robbery.
