Narcotics seizure

 

Kenner - On Thursday, February 28, 2008, members of the Kenner Police Department Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 3813 Connecticut Avenue, Kenner.  As a result of the search warrant, approximately 8.8 pounds of marijuana, 7.3 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and $7,492.00 were seized.  Two people were arrested.  They are identified as Jesse Reynolds, 31, and Eddie Coronado, 26, of 3813 Connecticut Avenue, Kenner.

Reynolds was charged with:

Illegal possession with the intent to distribute marijuana (2,638.0 grams)

Possession of drug paraphernalia (digital scales and bags)

Battery on a police officer

Resisting an officer

 

 

Coronado was charged with:

Illegal possession with the intent to distribute marijuana (1,343.4 grams)

Illegal possession with the intent to distribute cocaine  (7.3 grams)

Possession of drug paraphernalia (digital scales and bags)

The arrest and seizure was the result of a two month investigation conducted by the Kenner Police Department Narcotics Division.
