Female arrested in Kenner
for fraud
KENNER –
On
February 1, 2008, at 12:00 p.m., Kenner police arrested Alvianne
Ridgley, age 20, of New Orleans, Louisiana, for forgery and
unauthorized use of an “access card,” as theft valued at
$159.10.
Through
the course of the criminal investigation it was determined that
Mrs. Ridgley, an employee at Audubon Zoo, used an electronic
“skimming” device while at work to compromise the victim’s
account information and compose a counterfeit credit card. Ms.
Ridgley, in turn, used the counterfeit credit card to purchase
items at several businesses in Kenner. The criminal
investigation remains open at this point and Ms. Ridgley may
face additional charges.
Detective David Stromeyer is in charge of the investigation.
